Matthew Harb, M.D.
A fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon dedicated exclusively to hip and knee replacement — and to helping patients return to the lives they love.
Dr. Matthew Harb specializes in minimally invasive, muscle-sparing hip and knee replacement surgery. His practice is built around rapid-recovery protocols and custom-fitted implants tailored to each patient — an approach that allows many to undergo outpatient procedures and return home the same day.
A Louisiana native, Dr. Harb attended Louisiana State University on a full academic scholarship and graduated with honors before earning his medical degree at LSU School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident, and went on to subspecialty fellowship training in adult reconstruction at the University of Virginia.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Harb is married to his wife Katie and is a proud father of two. He enjoys running, hiking, and spending time outdoors — the same active lifestyle he works to restore for his patients.
“My focus is excellence in patient care, expedited recovery after surgery, and getting people back to the normal activities they love.”
